The event, inaugurated by Vani Prasad, IAS, Principal Secretary of the YAT & C Department, and Dr. Lakshmi Korra, IAS, Director of the State Art Gallery, showcases works from both professional and amateur photographers in Hyderabad.
The open exhibition features 42 top photographs selected from over 500 submissions. Ravinder Reddy, offering a diverse and vibrant snapshot of contemporary photography in Hyderabad.
Emphasizing the accessibility of photography, IPF Director Aquin Mathews commented, “With just a smartphone, anyone can be a photographer, regardless of their professional status. We are thrilled to present this collection of remarkable images from both renowned and emerging photographers, including college students. This platform welcomes all who wish to showcase their photographic skills, and we aim to make this an annual tradition for World Photography Day.”
HCP, a non-profit organization, and IPF, now celebrating its 10th year, are committed to providing opportunities for photographers to exhibit their work and engage with the wider art community. The exhibition is free and open to the public, available daily from 11 am to 6 pm, and will be on view until August 31.
