In a night that united the world in a celebration of beauty, purpose, and global sisterhood, history was made at the HITEX Exhibition Centre as Opal Suchata of Thailand was crowned the 72nd Miss World.
This unforgettable grand finale marked the powerful culmination of a month-long journey across Telangana—one that welcomed 108 extraordinary women from across the globe as they engaged in cultural immersions, philanthropic missions, and purpose-led challenges.
For the first time, the Miss World Festival was hosted in Telangana, and for the third time in India (after 1996 and 2024), transforming Hyderabad into a dazzling international stage. The city shone as a beacon of unity and elegance, reflecting the state’s deep-rooted heritage, warm hospitality, and rising prominence on the global map.

The evening was a celebration of beauty that transcends appearances, shining a spotlight on intelligence, advocacy, and meaningful social impact. Co-hosted by Stephanie del Valle, Miss World 2016, and renowned Indian presenter Sachiin Kumbhar, the grand finale seamlessly blended glamour with heartfelt emotion.
Bollywood stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Ishaan Khatter lit up the stage with electrifying performances, infusing the evening with vibrant Indian energy that captivated the global audience.
A defining moment of the night was the presentation of the Miss World Humanitarian Award to actor and humanitarian Sonu Sood, honored for his tireless commitment to humanitarian causes. His impactful work across India and beyond made him a truly deserving recipient of this prestigious accolade.
Also gracing the occasion was philanthropist and entrepreneur Sudha Reddy, who earlier hosted the Beauty With a Purpose Gala Dinner and was named Global Ambassador for Beauty With a Purpose, recognizing her global advocacy efforts.
Adding to the inspiration, Bollywood actress and Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar returned to the Miss World stage, sharing words of encouragement and her empowering journey with the next generation of changemakers.

The 1st runner-up was Hasset Dereje of Ethiopia (Miss World Africa), followed by 2nd runner-up Maja Klajda of Poland (Miss World Europe), and 3rd runner-up Aurélie Joachim of Martinique (Miss World Caribbean).
