Telangana takes center stage on the global map as the 72nd Miss World Festival culminates in its grand finale on May 31 at 1:00 PM GMT (6:30 PM IST) at the HITEX Exhibition Centre.
Following a month of impactful initiatives, cultural explorations, and purpose-led challenges across the state, 108 contestants from around the globe will gather for a dazzling showcase of beauty, purpose, and global unity—vying for the coveted Miss World crown.
The Grand Final will be hosted by Stephanie Del Valle, Miss World 2016, alongside renowned Indian presenter Sachiin Kumbhar. The evening will feature electrifying live performances by Bollywood stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Ishaan Khatter, adding glamour and star power to this unforgettable celebration.
Renowned humanitarian and actor Sonu Sood will be honored with the prestigious Miss World Humanitarian Award and will also serve as a judge for the Grand Final. Joining him on the esteemed panel is Sudha Reddy, the 2025 Global Ambassador for Beauty With a Purpose and gracious host of the gala dinner celebrating the same cause. Also serving as a judge is Dr. Caryna Turrell—Miss England 2014—an accomplished public health physician, philanthropist, investor, and Fellow at the University of Cambridge. The jury will be led by Julia Morley CBE, Chairwoman of Miss World, who will crown the 72nd Miss World.
Bollywood actress and Miss World 2017, Manushi Chhillar, will make a special appearance, adding to the glamour and prestige of the evening.
The Grand Final will be streamed live in India on SonyLiv, broadcast on national television in select countries, and made available globally in high definition on www.watchmissworld.com.
Miss World 2025 Selection Format
All 108 contestants will be presented on stage before the world. From this dazzling lineup, ten semifinalists from each continental region—Americas & Caribbean, Africa, Europe, and Asia & Oceania—will move forward to the quarterfinals, narrowing the field to 40 standout delegates.
Sixteen contestants have already secured their spots in the quarterfinals by winning the coveted fast-track challenges—demonstrating excellence across purpose, performance, and presence.

These exceptional delegates have advanced to the quarterfinals by excelling in fast-track challenges that highlight talent, purpose, communication, and digital engagement.
The remaining semifinalists—selected through personal interviews and deliberations by the Miss World panel—will be revealed live during the Grand Final.
From the 10 quarterfinalists in each continental region, the competition will narrow down to a Top 5, then a Top 2, and ultimately to 4 continental winners. These finalists will face one last defining moment—answering a final question live on stage—before the new Miss World is crowned.
The evening will be a spectacular showcase of global culture and elegance, with contestants gracing the runway in national costumes, evening gowns, and exclusive creations by Archana Kochhar, the official fashion designer of the 72nd Miss World Festival.
The grand celebration will culminate with the crowning of the new Miss World by the reigning titleholder, Krystyna Pyszková, Miss World 2023, who was crowned in Mumbai.
