The girl was asking neighbors in her village for financial assistance to perform her mother’s last rites, according to police reports. Earlier, the girl’s father had passed away due to illness, leaving the family in financial distress. Unable to bear the hardships, her mother committed suicide by hanging herself.
BRS leader KT Rama Rao responded to the situation and assured help for the girl.
