Hyderabad: Telangana will soon earn the title of ‘The Future State,’ thanks to transformative projects like the AI City, Net Zero Future City, and the extensive reimagining of Hyderabad, stated Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
He made these remarks while addressing CEOs of tech unicorns at an AI business roundtable hosted by the Indian Consulate General in Palo Alto, California. According to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office, he also noted how each state in the US has its own motto.
“In America, every state has a motto. I’ve visited New York, New Jersey, Washington DC, Texas, and now California. New York’s motto is ‘Out of Many, One.’ Texas is known as the ‘Lone Star State,’ and California’s motto is ‘Eureka.’ In India, states typically don’t have mottos, but I would like to give one to my state—Telangana. Telangana can be called ‘The Future State,’” Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy stated.
“I invite you to Telangana. I invite you to the future. Together, let us create the future,” he declared. Industry and IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu highlighted Telangana’s key policies and strengths that make it an attractive destination for global tech investors.
Many top CEOs and founders of AI unicorns have expressed a desire to visit Hyderabad to explore investment opportunities and expand capacities in the near future. Earlier, at the IT Serve Alliance meet in Dallas, CM Revanth Reddy and IT Minister Sridhar Babu made a strong case for Indian diaspora investments in Hyderabad.
IT Serve Alliance, the largest association of IT services organizations in the US, was urged to consider investing in Hyderabad and Telangana and to participate in various projects and initiatives for the diaspora.
“We have developed Hyderabad, Secunderabad, and Cyberabad over the years. Now, let us come together to build a world-class fourth city, the Future City. When you invest in Hyderabad now, you’re investing in the future,” said Revanth Reddy. Minister Sridhar Babu explained how projects like the Future City, Metro expansion, and River Musi rejuvenation are all part of a broader strategy to reimagine Hyderabad over the next decade.
“It will be a hub for future technologies like AI, and with its Net Zero impact design, it will be an urban construct of truly global standards,” he explained. He also emphasized the balanced approach in Telangana’s development, which includes promoting service sector growth in Tier-II towns and enhancing manufacturing capabilities. “Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has set a vision to transform Telangana into a $1 trillion economy within a decade. Let’s work together to achieve this goal,” Sridhar Babu concluded.
