Abu Dhabi: A 48-year-old Hyderabadi man living in the UAE has won an astounding $1 million (₹8,34,46,150) in the latest Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire draw.
Khaliq Naik Mohammed secured the $1 million prize in Millennium Millionaire Series 465 with ticket number 3813, which he purchased online.
Khaliq, an engineer-instructor at a university, has been living in Abu Dhabi since 2012 and participating in the draw for the past four years. When asked about his plans for the winnings, he said, ‘Most of the funds will go towards my children’s education and securing our family’s future, with some set aside for charitable initiatives.’ He is now the 232nd Indian to win $1 million since the Millennium Millionaire Show began in 1999.
