HYDERABAD: On Wednesday, Hyderabad Metro Rail unveiled a unique initiative aimed at enriching the commute experience, particularly for regular passengers. Through the ‘MeTimeOnMyMetro’ campaign, commuters can now showcase their talents in diverse fields such as art, literature, and culture. Launched at the MGBS station, this campaign offers designated spaces at select spacious stations, including MGBS, for passengers to display their skills and creativity.
Timed to coincide with Sankranti, the initiative brings a festive flair to metro stations with traditional song renditions, dance performances, and vibrant décor. The launch event at MGBS station was graced by N.V.S. Reddy, MD of HMRL, and K.V.B. Reddy, MD and CEO of L&TMRHL, along with other stakeholders of the ‘MeTimeOnMyMetro’ campaign. Cultural artists also attended the event and will actively participate in the festivities scheduled from January 8 to 10, adding a lively cultural dimension to the celebrations.
HMRL authorities explained, “The ‘MeTimeOnMyMetro’ campaign encourages passengers to explore their passions and hobbies during their commute. Whether you are a singer, dancer, cartoonist, player, avid reader, or photographer, the metro offers a unique platform to pursue your interests. This initiative fosters a sense of community and promotes personal well-being.”
