Veterans and patriotic citizens discuss their role in building a developed India under the theme ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’
Hyderabad: Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, an organisation representing veterans and patriotic citizens, successfully concluded its 19th National Convention at the Kalam Auditorium of the Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME) in Secunderabad.
The convention was organised under the theme ‘Viksit Bharat 2047: Role of Veterans and Patriotic Citizens’, highlighting how the experience, discipline and commitment of veterans can contribute to India’s long-term development goals.
Participants discussed ways to transform the knowledge and public-service experience of former armed forces personnel into meaningful initiatives that support nation-building and community development.
Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla attended the convention along with Major General N. Srinivas Rao (Retd), National Vice President, Dakshin Bharat, and State President of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Telangana.
Around 100 delegates from different parts of the country participated in the event. The gathering included State Presidents and office-bearers of the Sanstha, Mahila Wing Presidents, parents of martyred soldiers, Veer Naris, veterans, serving officers, educators and other patriotic citizens.
The convention also provided a platform for delegates to exchange ideas on national development, social responsibility and the role veterans can continue to play after completing their military service.
Through the convention, Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha reiterated its commitment to bringing veterans and citizens together and encouraging their active participation in initiatives supporting the vision of a developed India by 2047.
