Telangana DGP Ravi Gupta Unveils Posters on New Criminal Legislation

During the event, the DGP also unveiled a comprehensive booklet outlining the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for police officials under the new criminal laws. This manual signifies a crucial step in the enforcement of the new legislation, BNSS, encompassing 43 SOPs and 31 proformas that address key aspects of the procedural law. The SOPs are designed to establish uniformity among investigating officers statewide, ensuring transparency and coherence in investigations, stated the DGP.

The Director General of Police stated that all police officers statewide have completed training on the new laws, and the CCTNS has been upgraded to align with the requirements of this new legal framework.
