Hyderabad: Telangana’s IT and Industries Minister, D. Sridhar Babu, stated that the government will offer incentives and build infrastructure to support the electric vehicle (EV) and lithium battery industries, aiming to establish the state as an EV hub.
Speaking to representatives from ETO Electric two-wheeler company, led by ‘Goldstone’ Prasad, he urged them to expand their Jadcherla facility’s capacity to 10,000 units. In light of the rising demand for EVs, he mentioned that the government will offer additional incentives to the sector to attract foreign direct investment.
Sridhar Babu expressed his appreciation for the company’s training program designed for women drivers.
