Hyderabad: The Consulate General of Turkey extends heartfelt thanks to Hyderabad for the abundant aid collected and sent to assist those affected by the earthquake.
The Consulate General has issued a statement to the media stating, “Our warehouses are overflowing with in-kind aid. Thank you, Hyderabad. Alhamdulillah.
The Consulate General has requested that the residents of Hyderabad shift their efforts towards financial donations rather than sending further physical items.
Philanthropist Iftekhar Hussain has joined in making an appeal for donations to aid those affected by the earthquake in Turkey. They said, “Hyderabad has a long-standing tradition of generously supporting those impacted by natural and man-made disasters. We call upon Hyderabad to once again rise to the occasion and help those affected by the earthquake in Turkey. Please direct your donations to the designated address provided by the Turkish Embassy in New Delhi.
Additionally, the Turkish Embassy in New Delhi has also requested financial aid. In a notice, it stated, “For those in India who are eager to contribute to the earthquake-stricken regions of Turkey, please find below the details of the official bank account of the Turkish Embassy in New Delhi
