Hyderabad: Comic Con India, the subcontinent’s largest pop culture extravaganza, is gearing up to thrill Hyderabad once again. For the first time, Hyderabad Comic Con will span three days—November 15, 16, and 17—at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, creating an immersive experience for anime, gaming, and pop culture enthusiasts.
Jatin Varma, Founder of Comic Con India, shared his excitement, saying, “This will be our biggest event in Hyderabad to date, showcasing the very best in Indian comics, immersive fan activities, cosplay, gaming, geeky shopping, and so much more.”
The event will feature engaging panels and exclusive sessions with notable names like Amar Chitra Katha, Raj Comics, Crunchyroll, and prominent creators from India and abroad. Fans can also look forward to live stand-up performances by popular comedians such as Harsh Gujral, Azeem Banatwalla, Ravi Gupta, and Sayed Bashaar. Adding to the excitement, there will be special musical acts from the Daisuki Cosplay Band, Geek Fruit, hip-hop artist Karan Kanchan, and more.
This year, Comic Con India will be joined by DreamHack, India’s largest gaming festival, celebrating its 5th anniversary and bringing a dynamic gaming dimension to the event. Organized by Nodwin Gaming, the three-day celebration will highlight comics and feature a wide range of emerging publishing houses and Indian artists.
