Sachin Tendulkar, widely considered the greatest cricketer of all time and known as the ‘God of Cricket’ in India, shares a similar passion for cars and was also a brand ambassador for BMW India.
Sachin Tendulkar was seen driving the Pininfarina Battista, an upcoming electric supercar rumored to be India’s most expensive car, at the Formula E Grand Prix event in Hyderabad. Sachin shared photos of his ride on social media and pondered if electric vehicles are the future. He was impressed by the car’s speed and congratulated Anand Mahindra and his team.
The Pininfarina Battista had the perfect answer for “Are EVs the future?”.

Pininfarina is owned by Mahindra and Mahindra and was never launched in the Indian market.

Among Sachin’s collection, the BMW i8 is one of the most expensive cars he owns. This car boasts a 1.5-liter petrol engine coupled with an electric motor, producing 357 hp of power and 520 Nm of torque. The price of this car is around Rs. 2.54 crore.
Launched in 2016 in India, the BMW 7-Series 750Li M is one of the many top BMW models that Sachin has driven. Priced at around 1.73 crores, it is no surprise to call Sachin a BMW man.
According to reports, Sachin owns multiple Porsche Techart models, including the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S with the Techart kit and the Porsche 992 Turbo S Techart.
