Hyderabad: During her inspection of development works in the Serilingampally zone on Tuesday, GHMC Commissioner Amrapali Kata directed authorities to expedite land acquisition for the completion of the Gachibowli flyover construction.

She also visited IIT Junction, Lingampally RuB, and Majid Banda, instructing the development of the junctions, the establishment of more free lefts, and beautification initiatives in coordination with traffic police. Additionally, she emphasized prioritizing pending court cases.

At a review meeting later in the day, she emphasized the need to improve sanitation and hygiene in the city, offering several suggestions for regular garbage removal from drains. She urged officers to ensure door-to-door garbage collection and stressed the importance of maintaining public toilets.

Regarding the corporation’s revenue generation, she instructed the town planning task force team to be more efficient in the field and directed them to expedite the GIS-based mapping and survey of properties.
