Hyderabad: A task force team from the Telangana Food Safety Department conducted raids on two restaurants in Hyderabad following complaints lodged against them.
The raids were conducted following complaints received through the FoSCoS app.
During the inspections, the team evaluated the hygiene of the food and the cleanliness of the premises at two restaurants in Hyderabad.
During the inspection at Mehrab Restaurant in Rajendra Nagar, Upperpally, the Food Safety Officer identified violations of the FSS Act, 2006, and the Rules and Regulations, 2011.

A notice will be issued to the restaurant, and further action will be taken as required.
A complaint was also received against Indian Darbar Restaurant, located in Narayanguda, Amberpet.
During the raid at Indian Darbar Restaurant, a well-known establishment in Hyderabad, the team identified violations of the FSS Act, 2006, and the Rules and Regulations, 2011.

Inspections at Schools and Hostels in Telangana
In addition to the restaurant raids in Hyderabad, recent inspections were carried out at various schools and hostels across Telangana. During these inspections, the administration and cooking staff were educated on kitchen protocols and best practices.
Over the past few months, the task force team has been conducting raids at various restaurants, PGs, and hostels to ensure the maintenance of food quality.
